Flying Spaghetti Monster Sighting

I went out to get the washing in off the line, as I was walking back inside with an armful of washing I noticed the image of the Flying Spaghhetti Monster in the sky.
I grabbed my camera and took this picture and then dashed in to upload it. By the timer I had done that and gone back outside to get the rest of the washing in it had disappeared.

It looks like my next door neighbour’s house has been touched by his noodly appendage

My niece and her friend have put a video on youtube of them doing the Cadburys Eyebrows advert, and a snippet of it will appear on the TV at Christmas – how cool is that!

Everyone wants to take my photo

I have a few Foska cycling jerseys and it seems that whenever I go out cycling in one, people want to have their photo taken with me. A group of us went on a cycle ride around the East Hampshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty around Petersfield and I wore my Marmite jersey. When we stopped for lunch in a pub, some young ladies wanted their picture taken with me because they love Marmite. A similar thing happened when I cycled to Wickham Festival.

I also have a London Pride jersey, which I wore when a group of us cycled to Portsmouth Beer Festival. This time a bunch of blokes wanted their picture taken with me (note to self, wear Marmite one in future that attracts the ladies).

As you can see I got a Homer Simpson jersey the other day and wore it on our regular cycle ride to Gosport.Â The ladies in our group wanted a picture of my jersey (they didn’t want to be photographed with me though – definitely a Marmite thing). Much hilarity when the realised that Homer’s eyes make me look like I’ve got tits (but off to one side).

Why is Hampshire abbreviated to Hants

A group of us did our regular evening cycle ride to Gosport last night. Over dinner and drinks at Wetherspoons Shelagh asked why Hampshire is abbreviated to Hants. Well a quick search on google this morning gave this explanation, so now you know!

Star Trek equals Hits

In the description of this picture I said that it reminded me of a set from the original series of Star Trek. I very quickly got lots of hits from the trekweb website because their homepage displays pictures from flickr that refer to star trek. So if you want to boost the number for visits your photo receives…
