The Metropolitan police have updated their guidance to Police officers on dealing with photographers. It will be interesting to see whether this curbs the excesses of the Met and other police forces.

Just saw this article on Boing Boing – what is the world coming to? I hope the court throws the book at him.
The Britiish Journal of Photography have started an online campaign to protest at the harassment by the police of photographers (amateur and professional) going about their lawful business. I have added my photo to the pool.
