Welcome to my blog. I was born in the mid 60′s and brought up in East Dorset. Went to School in Ferndown where I got my ‘O’ Levels and ‘A’ Levels.
I got a BSc(Hons) in Computer and Communication Systems from what was Thames Polytechnic (now University of Greenwich) in the 80′s and got an MSc in Advanced Computing from Bournemouth University from studying part-time.
I develop software for a living as an independent contractor (I have a profile on LinkedIn).
In my spare time I do:
- Cycling (I’m a member of Fareham Wheelers Cycling Club, Velocity Bikes Cycle Club, IMBA and CTC)
- Photography (I lurk and occasionally post on the Talk Photography forum). As mentioned elsewhere on this site, I’ve joined Locksheath & Sarisbury Camera Club and started setting up a website for them. You can see some of my photos on Flickr
- Various social activities with Portsmouth IVC (oh and I look after their website too).
- And I’m on twitter (expect occasional bursts of tweets) and tumblr (again very occasional bursts of activity)
